Skyway Robbery = Bad profits
Business travel has become a series of disappointments both large and small—let’s face it, when the highlight of your trip becomes the realization that no one is going to be sitting next to you in the middle seat; well, the state of affairs has fallen pretty far.
Take this seat-power station in the Delta Airlines waiting area at KCI; clearly this industry has hit the ridiculous end of the continuum when they are not only charging for checking an extra bag, a cup of coffee and for extra-legroom—they have the gaul to mark-up electricity by 15,000% while they hold you hostage for a few hours as a late flight attendant, equipment malfunction or cancellation somewhere else ripples through the system.
$3 for an hour of power (when it costs maybe $.02 for a laptop) = Bad profits.
